Refund policy

Import Duties and Taxes for International Shipping 

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.

Import duties and taxes may be applied upon customs clearance into your country. In such cases, the recipient of the item will be responsible for those fees. Please pay these costs directly to the delivery agents or the customs office upon delivery.

Taxes and duties differ by country. Please check with your country's office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

 

Returns (if applicable)

Food or beverage items are not returnable or replaceable unless defective or damaged. If your purchase arrived damaged or contaminated in anyway, please contact us using Contact Form or contact at global.shop@yamatokouso.com within 30 DAYs from the delivery date and we will do our best to resolve the problem.

Please DO NOT return your purchases without our instruction to do so. Otherwise, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

 

--- Change of Mind Returns ---

"Change of mind" includes purchases you have made in error eg accidentally ordered the wrong item.

If you change your mind about the products you have purchased from us online, we will refund the purchase price, subject to the following conditions:

1. You should contact us using Contact Form, before returning items.

2. The returned item must be products purchased from our online store within 30 days.

3. The returned item must not be food or beverage.

4. The Item must be in original condition (unopened, unused).

5. You may be asked to provide personal details for returns or exchanges. These details will be used for the purpose of processing the return.

6. Refund will not include the costs of shipping. Shipping costs from your original order will not be refunded for change of mind return. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your items also.

 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your claim is received and inspected, we will send you an email and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to original method of payment within 30 days.

 

Exchange (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are damaged contaminated or incorrect item. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact Yamato Kouso Global Online Store using Contact Form before returning any items within 30 Days from delivery of your purchase. Please write your name and order number, and a reason why you want to exchange. We will return to you with further instructions for the exchange.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchange product to reach you, may vary.
